Recently, Microsoft showed fans another video for the upcoming game, Halo 5: Guardians. The video is the opening cinematic for the second mission of the game titled, “Blue Team”.
Blue Team is led by Master Chief (John-117) and shows him lead his team onto an ONI research facility to fight the invading Covenant forces on the station. On Master Chief’s team are Kelly-087, Linda-058, and Fredric-104. In Halo 5: Guardians, Blue Team will be battling Fireteam Osiris, who are led by Spartan Locke.
Details about the conflict between the two teams will be shown in the upcoming animated series Halo: The Fall of Reach, which will be an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Eric Nylund. The show will arrive the same time as Halo 5: Guardians, on October 27th.
