Ubisoft has announced that their latest racing game, Trackmania Turbo, will not release this year. The game is no longer slated to release in 2015, but rather “early 2016.”

Ubisoft stated in a recent blog post that Trackmania Turbo needs more time after feedback from fans. They want to make sure the game runs smoothly and is enjoyable. They will use the extra development time to “enhance the campaign and the game’s interface.” The UI has been a problem plaguing past Trackmania games and it appears that the issue has not quite been fixed.

Many other areas are also being looked at by the developer, Nadeo. Multiplayer and online stability was another area they received a ton of feedback for. There will be new features and improvements to online play in hopes of making Trackmania Turbo the go-to online racer.

Trackmania Turbo will be released in early 2016, no further details on the date was given. It will be releasing on the PC, Xbox One, and PS4. This will be a change for the series as it is traditionally a PC-only series. For more information on release stayed tuned to Gamespresso.
