Since their highly praised Journey released in 2012, thatgamecompany has been very quiet about what they are working on next. While still no solid details have emerged, the developer has responded to questions on Twitter (via Dualshockers), requesting more information on the new game, saying “The only other info is that it won’t have the same emotional experience of Journey and [Vincent Diamante] is composing the music.”

Diamante was the composer for Flower, thatgamecompany’s second game, and is also well known for his work on Skullgirls.

Back in May of 2014, thatgamecompany hinted their next project would be “an emotionally engaging experience centered around human connections for players of all ages and backgrounds.”

And this past March, at GDC, the studio manager admitted possible plans to form two separate teams following the release of their currently still unannounced game.

Were you hoping for another Journey? Or is just a fun, beautiful game going to be enough? Let us know in the comments.
