Ubisoft’s Rainbow Six Siege is a multiplayer only shooter that focuses on cooperative play for success of the team. Players were looking forward to trying out the advanced destructible environments and other features during the beta that was reported to begin today. Unfortunately,  some issues have forced a change of plans.

Ubisoft spoke directly about the beta in their forums. “We’re postponing the open beta until a later time and keeping the game under closed beta status. We apologize for the delay and can assure you this is our top priority. We will keep everyone updated regularly as we continue to deploy improvements.”

While the Rainbow Six Siege beta was originally supposed to end on November 29th, it is unclear now if that will remain. There is also no word yet on whether the full version release date of December 1st will change at all. Hopefully Ubisoft will shed more light on the subject soon. Once it is released, Rainbow Six Siege will available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
