The next big Xbox One update is coming on November 12, and the dashboard is getting a huge makeover. A new video released by Microsoft is offering a closer look specifically at the home screen for the new user experience update.

The video, as seen above, sees Larry “Major Nelson” Hyrb and Richard Irving walking you through the new home screen, which has been redesigned to be less cluttered and more organized, with additional sections and shortcuts available for users.

“We really wanted to dedicate every area on home to be deeply and specifically about that category so we moved pins to the bottom of the home just below your recently played games and apps, and this is where you find all of your movies and TV shows and games that you like the most and, of course, your collection to get to all of your games and apps.”

Along with the new Xbox One experience redesign, the update on November 12 also brings the much-anticipated backwards compatibility functionality to your Xbox One console, allowing it to play Xbox 360 titles natively from disc and those purchased digitally. You can see the entire list of Xbox 360 games that will be functional with your Xbox One.
