Earlier this year in November, several PS4 versions of PS2 era Star wars games were included with the special edition PS4 bundle of Star Wars: Battlefront. Since that time, Sony has been adding emulated versions of old games to their Playstation Store.

After some initial releases and announcements however, news on exactly which games are getting the emulation treatment has been scarce. Thanks to ESRB ratings reported by GamesRadar and GameZone we have a clue that the following five titles might be released as emulated games.

  • Wild Arms 3
  • Siren
  • Primal
  • Okage: Shadow King
  • Ape Escape 3

It should be noted that this emulation system is not full backwards compatibility. If you have a hard copy of one of these games you still need to buy the game again at a $10-$15 price point. On a recent edition of the PS Nation Podcast Playstation President of Worldwide Studios Shuhei Yoshida defended the price points citing the cost of inclusion of new features like PS4 trophies and “share” functionality as well as licencing and QA costs.

While Sony has stated that not every PS2 game will be emulated for PS4 they are accepting community suggestions on Twitter through the “#ps2ps4” hashtag.

So what games would all of you like to see emulated?
