Two iconic superheroes from the DC Comic universe will go head to head in a new movie. Superman and Batman will match wits and strengths in Batman v Superman. While the title of the film may only include these two Dynamic Duo, another hero will get a chance to shine. According to the recent trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, it appears that Wonder Woman will be playing a fairly prominent role. There are three new character posters for Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman. These three superheros are being dubbed as the DC’s so called Trinity.
According to director Zack Snyder, he explained that there was a reason that Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman are together in this film. His intention was to bring together all three of these superheros to build towards a future movie. According to Snyder, “We’re working toward Justice League,” he said. “The part of the thing I really want to create is the possibility of a world where they could exist together. I think up to this point, it’s been difficult to suggest a world where Batman and Superman and Wonder Woman and others could exist in the same universe. That was one of the things I really wanted to try and get at.” It appears that we can expect to see this trio again in the near future.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will open on March 25, 2016. It stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Diane Lane, and Laurence Fishburne.
