Not many franchises have such a tight hold on their respective niches, but I’ll be damned if SSX hasn’t been the best video game about snowboarding since, well, ever. And while their latest iteration of the series released just over four years ago, those looking to fill that snowboarding itch can hold off on the plane tickets to Colorado for just a little while longer.
SSX for the Xbox 360 is now backwards compatible on the Xbox One. The announcement was made by Microsoft’s Xbox division spokesman Larry “Major Nelson” via Twitter post.
SSX was a Games with Gold game for December of 2015, meaning that Xbox One owners now have a new game to go and play during the slow summer release schedule ahead.
