The King of Fighters XIV demo has released on PlayStation 4 in America, Europe, and Asia.
The demo features a local verses mode, training and tutorial modes, as well as a verses AI mode. It also features 7 characters to choose from: Kyo Kusanagi, Mai Shiranui, Iori Yagami, Sylvie Paula Paula, King of Dinosaurs, Shun’ei, and Nelson. This gives you more than enough time to try the game out before it is released on August 23.
It was also announced that anyone who downloads the demo will also receive a dynamic PlayStation 4 theme.
Along with the release of the demo, SNK has released The King of Fighters Story Trailer on the official Playstation Youtube channel. The video shows off the game’s diverse cast of characters as well as gives fans a taste of what they can expect form the game’s story mode.
SNK has also released a trailer for Antonov, a new character to the series who will act as the game’s main antagonist.
The King of Fighters XIV will features the game’s iconic 3 on 3 battle system, new game mechanics, as well as a unique cast of 50 characters to choose from. The game will release exclusively for PlayStation 4 on August 23rd, 2016.
