Ahead of its Early Access release, new features are coming to Yore VR.

Ironbelly Studios, the developers behind Yore VR, will be improving features for their title. The studio will be adding two gameplay modes, NPCs, and difficulty level ahead of the game’s Early Access release. Ironbelly states that the changes have been made following feedback from a community of gamers. The developer states that the additions will provide players with richer experiences and challenges.

Yore Vr is an open-world sandbox game that allows players to forge their own weapons. Players can either practice their forging, or begin in the open world with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Players will have over 40 components, blades, hilts, crossguards, and pommels with thousands of possible crafting combinations. In order to work in their shop, players will need to find wood for their fire and ore for their smelter, using their trusty pick-axe to find iron. Yore VR will also feature a tavern with mini-games, and will have potential future activities such as hunting, herb gathering, alchemy, melee combat, dungeons, and more.

Yore VR will be available on Steam’s Early Access program on October 20th. Players will need the HTC Vive in order to play the title.
