Activision was nowhere to be found during Microsoft’s reveal of major publishers supporting backwards compatibility at Gamescom today.
When questioned on the missing Call of Duty producer, head of games marketing at Microsoft, Aaron Greenberg had this to say:

Activision’s plans for backwards compatibility of its last generation games are currently unknown.
Regardless, Microsoft’s lineup of available titles is staggeringly impressive, and should prove to be one of the most successful moves the company has made with the Xbox One.
