Square Enix has announced that mobile RPG Mobius Final Fantasy has reached 8,888,888 registered users. In light of this milestone, the company will be hosting a variety of in-game events and giveaways throughout the month of November. According the company, the number eight is significant because of its similarity to the infinity symbol.
An announcement on the official Mobius Final Fantasy website gives an overview of the Social Event that will be taking place on the game’s official Facebook page. “For the entire month of November, fans can win additional prizes by sharing their most memorable MOBIUS FINAL FANTASY experiences. The story that generates the most likes on the official Facebook event post will win an autographed official MOBIUS FINAL FANTASY Original Soundtrack. The second prize winner will receive a moogle plush toy. Furthermore, if the official post exceeds 3,888 likes and comments, every registered player will receive three in-game Crystals.”
As for in game bonuses, from now until November 13th, players will be able to take advantage of special login bonuses. These rewards include Summon Tickets, Growstars and other unique items. Players will also have one Ability Card at their disposal without the need of Summon Tickets or Magite daily.
The Mobius Final Fantasy team has also launched an exclusive trailer to commemorate the success of the game.
Mobius Final Fantasy is available on mobile devices. The game launched on August 3rd of this year.
