Just moments ago, the League of Legends Pro league Spring Split winners were announced for 2015. The final showdown was a best of 5 between Edward Gaming and LGD Gaming and it was legendary. As seen in the video above, Deft, the AD Carry for EDG, gets a pentakill which the team was able to take advantage of and push the enemy turrets down and eventually getting their nexus. The winners took home a respectable ¥ 800,000 or $ 128,000 USD.
Edward gaming will be participating in this year’s Mid Season Invitational along with Team SoloMid from North America, Fnatic from Europe, ahq e-Sports Club from the Master Series, Beşiktaş e-Sports Club who were winners of the international Wild Card Invitational and either SK Telecom 1 or the GE Tigers from the Korean Championship series.
