Ar nosurge: Ode to an Unborn Star was a JRPG for the PlayStation 3. The game received a PlayStation Vita version of the game, entitled Ar nosurge Plus, in Japan this past October. It has now been announced that the game will be localized for the west.

Ar nosurge Plus will be released in North America on July 2nd, and in Europe on July 1st. The game will be digital, and will run gamers $39.99. It will be released on the PlayStation Vita. The game is an update to the original PlayStation 3 version, and will include new costumes, “Purification” partners, and some DLC already on the cartridge. There is also dual audio, allowing players to choose between English and Japanese.

Along with the digital release of Ar Nosurge Plus, NIS America will also be releasing a physical limited edition of the title. The limited edition includes a copy of the game, a Surge Concerto pin badge, a microfiber cloth, a sticker sheet, a poster (18″x24″), and a collector’s box. The Ar nosurge Plus limited edition will cost $54.99. You can pick it up at the NIS America Store. Unfortunately, the limited edition is only available for North America.

Ar nosurge Plus: Ode to an Unborn Star is a fantasy, sci-fi JRPG that takes place in a world where music and song can create magic. The game tells the story of a civilization that lost their planet, and have been been roaming space for 2,000 years looking for a new home. The player follows two pairs of characters: Delta and Casty, who are trying to protect humanity and save the world, and Ion and Earthes, who are trying to fin Ion a way home to Earth. The player changes between the two pairs, and discover a way to combine the storylines and strengths to solve the mystery that shrouds their struggles.

Ar nosurge Plus will release on July 2nd in North America, and July 1st in Europe. The game will be available on the PS Vita.
