The day the reports of Microsoft buying Silent Hills for a Xbox exclusive, Phil Spencer who is the head of Xbox tweeted that the information was false.
“Sorry, this isn’t true,” Phile tweets. “Not sure where the rumor started but I don’t want to mislead anyone.”
It’s nice that this rumor didn’t hang around for long. Yesterday, an anonymous source said that Microsoft was planning to buy Silent Hills for “billions” of dollars. You can read more about that here.
