Splatoon is Nintendo’s foray into multiplayer shooters. Last week, Nintendo released a new weapon for Splatoon’s mutiplayer mode, and is releasing another today.
The new weapon for Splatoon is the Splash-o-Matic. The weapon’s shots do not spread much, but it does have excellent rapid-fire capabilities. The Splash-o-Matic comes with the Suction Bomb as a sub-weapon, and the Bomb Rush as a special weapon. On the official Splatoon blog, it states: “It could be said to be a bit lacking in attack power, but zero in on a target and they’ll burst in no time flat.”
Players will be able to use the Splash-o-Matic tonight, June 12th, at 7 p.m. PT. More Splatoon content is planned to release throughout the summer, with a major update coming in August.
Splatoon is available now for the Nintendo Wii U.
