At their first E3 press conference, Bethesda Softworks revealed the first initial gameplay for their new Doom title.

As seen in the first official gameplay video above, fast-paced and gory gameplay is at the heart of the new Doom. Multiple weapons are shown including a shotgun, super shotgun, the plasma rifle, and a chainsaw that literally lets you saw enemies in half.

A large number of death sequences appeared as the player defeated many enemies as they moved throughout the setting. Gameplay now features new moves including double jumping allow for broader and more expansive modes of killing your enemies.

Weapons are selected via a quick select wheel as your surroundings slow down while entering a time-lapse.

The video ends just as gory as it was throughout as an enemy tackles the player and rips off both of their arms. It’s only fair, right?

Extensive gameplay was also shown for the multiplayer mode as well as a mode entitled “Snapmap” that allows for a high amount of customization available to players.

Doom will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Will you be enjoying the gory gameplay when it comes out?
