Bloodborne will receive a new update next week.

Update 1.05 will be released for the PlayStation 4 exclusive after server maintenance is performed next week during July 12-13. The update is expected to be released immediately following and is set to include minor changes to the game, as well as bug fixes and online improvements. The full notes for what the new patch contains are below.

“We will continue to make improvements to better the play experience,” a post by developer From Software  reads.

The changes in the patch are as follows:

  • If a player uses the Beckoning Bell or Small Resonant Bell while using a password, it will be clearly indicated that a password is in use.
  • If the level difference between the host and the guest when matched using a password is large, the guest’s stats will be adjusted to match the host’s.
  • Other bug fixes and matching improvements.

Online mode will be unavailable during the online maintenance times prior to the patch which are conducted at the times below depending on your time zone:

07/12/2015:
23:00 – 04:00 (PDT)

07/13/2015:

06:00 – 11:00 (GMT)
00:00 – 05:00 (MDT)
01:00 – 06:00 (CDT)

While this update is minor, Bloodborne is expected to receive a substantial expansion sometime in the future, possibly even this year.  The game found massive success when it was released this past March.
