Hardcore, a first person movie, looks amazing in it’s new trailer.
Hardcore is a gaming inspired first person shooter movie. Not only is it filled with action, but there seems to be an interesting story as well. It will also be the first film shot in 100 percent from the perspective of the hero.
Hardcore seems to be a sci-fi and supernatural movie. The main character has been revived from the dead as a cyborg. This was possible with the help from his wife Haley. Unfortunately for the cyborg, Henry, his memory is gone. In the YouTube video’s description, it is then stated,
5 minutes later, your wife has been kidnapped and you should probably go get her back. Who’s got her? His name’s Akan (Danila Kozlovsky), he’s just a psychotic megalomaniac with telekinetic powers, and a never-ending army of mercenaries. You’re also in an unfamiliar city of Moscow, Russia and everyone wants you dead. Everyone, except for a mysterious British fellow called Jimmy (Sharlto Copley).
This isn’t the first time the director, Ilya Naishuller, has done something like this. Ilya directed a music video that was totally in first person for his band, Biting Elbows. This video is also action packed, and has a great song to go with it. In the music video, a man is in pursuit of a device that can teleport great distances. In order to obtain the device he must kill the many people standing in his way.
