Advertising is a fickle task at best – trying to promote a game to an audience that will sit down, shut up, take note and purchase your product is a nightmare, especially when you have to try and get like-minded people in the same room to create a target audience. Microsoft has managed to hit the nail on the head this week, with Halo 5: Guardians being advertised before Star Wars: The Force Awakens in some United States theaters. Uncharted 4 has also received the same treatment.

It comes as no shock that both Microsoft and Sony have utilized the launch of Star Wars: The Force Awakens to promote their titles, with reports stating that the movie has already broken records globally.
