With blessings from FromSoft, the fine folk over at Titan Comics publication have started whirling their machines to start up a brand new Dark Souls comic book series. Titan Comics is a well known ‘publishing intiative’ that seeks to bring to life comic creations from various different creators along with their IP. The person responsible for bringing the series to a comic series is George Mann and Alan Quoh. George is known for his writing for the various Doctor Who comic books while Alan is known for his art job on Godzilla: Awakening.
In the press release, Mann had this to say about undertaking the task:
Dark Souls has a rich, original universe that’s just begging to be explored in comics, and I’m honored to have the opportunity to delve in and tell some new stories within it,” said Mann. “It’s a real thrill to be able to contribute to the mythology of the Hollows and their world.
This exciting series will commence before the third Dark Souls game comes out, which is slated for April 12th, 2016. Dark Souls is loved for its rich story and lore; it’ll be great to see some more interpretations on the current obscure lore-filled universe.
