The Witness was previously announced for PlayStation 4 and PC, but what we didn’t know was that it was coming to the Xbox One.
Still officially unannounced, the ESRB has given a rating to The Witness for Xbox One. The rating for Windows PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One is E(for everyone).
The game has Alcohol Reference, but no other warnings. The summary description for the game reads, “This is a puzzle-adventure game in which players traverse an island full of puzzles. Players must complete puzzles to trigger switches, bypass obstacles, and unlock doors/gates. Some lines of dialogue reference alcohol (e.g., “The whole universe is in a glass of wine” and “Let it give us one more final pleasure: drink it and forget it all!”).”
The Witness is set to launch on January 26th for PlayStation 4 and PC, and a bit later for other platforms(Xbox One). It has also been confirmed for iOS, which will launch “months after” the January date.
