Twilight Princess is making its way to the Wii U, and Nintendo has just shown us what a difference 10 years can make.

Originally released for both the Nintendo Gamecube and Wii, Twilight Princess is getting a HD upgrade with the latest release. Although the footage only compares scenes from the Gamecube, the Wii didn’t look much better at the time. (Not to mention all of the footage would be mirrored.)

The re-release of the Zelda game is a smart move by Nintendo, as original copies of the Gamecube version tend to sell for over $70 on eBay. And the Wii version, well, no one really appreciated the motion controls.

Even though Skyward Sword vastly improved upon the motion controls, it’ll be nice to see a Zelda game with more normalized peripherals.
