The next installment of the Sniper Elite series, Sniper Elite 4, will be coming to PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 later this year, Rebellion has announced.
The game will be set in Italy in 1943, continuing the story of Sniper Elite 3. You will play as Karl Fairburne, who has been dropped into Italy in advance of the Allied invasion.
“From sun-drenched Mediterranean coastal towns, to colossal Nazi megastructures, daunting forests and giddying mountain monasteries, Sniper Elite 4 will offer breathless emergent stealth action and unrivaled sniping freedom across maps many times the size of those seen in Sniper Elite 3,” the developer writes.
The game will feature single-player, multi-player competitive and co-op.
Sniper Elite 4 is due to release later this year on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
