With the coolest subtitle for the game, the next entry in the Star Ocean series now has an English voice acted trailer that debuted during the Jump Festa. With it, the game’s theme song has been confirmed as ‘Astra Nova’ from the Japanese rock band ‘androp’.
As mentioned in an earlier recount as to the plot of the game when the game was announced, the game takes place between the second and third Star Ocean games. It follows the story of a young knight, Fidel Camus, who tries to defend his village from an encroaching darkness. Unfortunately, he gets whisked away into an adventure with his childhood friend Miki Sorvesta and an enigmatic young girl named Relia. An adventure that would ultimately decide the fate of the planet.
Despite hearing the English voice acting, the release date for the west is still projected for sometime later in 2016. It will however be available on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 in Japan as of March 31st, 2016.
