Two years ago Scott Games released the first Five Nights at Freddy’s (FNAF) game. With a charming, and original idea, he sent the jump scare horror game out into the world.

Not even one year would pass before he would release the second, third, and fourth installments of the franchise. The idea behind the FNAF franchise is that you control a security guard in different Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza locations. You are to watch the monitors and make sure the animations don’t leave the store, or kill you.

Although each installment of the franchise varies the game play, in the original you had two doors that you could lock to keep the animatronics out. Unfortunately, you had a limited supply of power before you’d lose the night.

With this wildly popular universe catching on in several fandoms, it wasn’t long before Scott decided to release a fifth installment into the series. An RPG called Five Nights at Freddy’s World, which was received negatively amongst the fans (and critics) for being poorly developed.

It looks like we will be meeting another animatronic soon, as the latest spin-off title called Sister Location has been teased on Scott’s website. The tagline for the teaser image reads “There was never just one”.

Will this be the start of many Sister Location games? Only time will tell how long these games will keep selling.
