Those who want to try out the upcoming title Doom will be able to this weekend.

The upcoming Doom open beta can be preloaded right now for all three of the platforms that the game is releasing on. The open beta will go live on Friday, April 15th, at 12:00 a.m. ET, and will run until Sunday, April 17th, at 11:59 p.m. ET.

The Doom open beta will feature two multiplayer modes, Team Deathmatch and Warpath. The two playable maps will be Heatwave and Infernal. Warpath is similar to King of the Hill, requiring one point to be captured by either team. However, Warpath has the capture point moving along a set path around the map. While these features were also available in the recent closed beta, the open beta will feature new armor sets, taunts, and hack modules.

Doom will release on May 13th. The game will release for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game is the first major installment in the series since Doom 3 in 2004.
