Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithfulness, the next installment in the Star Ocean series, has received an official launch trailer.
“Experience the story of Fidel Camuze, his childhood friend Miki Sauvester, and a mysterious young girl named Relia who holds the key to the story, as they get drawn into a battle that may change the fate of the planet,” Square Enix explains in the video description.
Integrity and Faithfulness is the fifth entry in the franchise developed by tri-Ace. To prepare you for launch, the official Star Ocean website includes background information on the story.
“At this point in history, between the second and third games in the series, the Pangalactic Federation is nearing the fulfillment of its mission to bring peace and order to the galaxy. However, the embers of conflict begin to stir once again six thousand light years from Earth, on the planet of Faykreed, as a new story begins in the cosmic sea.”
Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithfulness will release exclusively on PlayStation 4 in North America on June 28th, and July 1st internationally. The game launched earlier this year in Japan for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.
Recently, producer Shuichi Kobayashi revealed the possibility of a PC port for the game if the control issues were resolved.
