Headlining Call of Duty XP, the convention held for the Call of Duty Community in LA this weekend, Infinity Ward has revealed the multiplayer for Infinite Warfare.

Featuring the return of the wall-running, sliding movement style adopted by Black Ops III, this year’s Call of Duty also sees a full range of futuristic weapons and gear, even including a Gravity Vortex Gun that fires black holes. Similar to last year’s Specialist system, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is built around a Combat Rigs system, selectable characters each with “a complement of Perks and a special weapon that charges as the match goes on.”

Profiling the new multiplayer, Sony writes on the PlayStation Blog, “Infinity Ward is taking a bold step further into the future than any Call of Duty developer before them this November. But despite its high-tech trappings, Infinite Warfare will feel instantly familiar to longtime veterans and more recent COD fans.”

Best of all, console players won’t have to wait until November to get their hands on the game. Infinity Ward has announced a beta, starting on PS4 October 14 for those that pre-order the game. While the beta won’t come to PC, it will come to Xbox One at a later time. And Infinity Ward promises the beta will run at least three days.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare releases on PS4, Xbox One, and PC November 4.
