Image & Form’s SteamWorld games will finally be brought together in one neat package, thanks to the release of the SteamWorld Collection. This package is a physical retail copy of both SteamWorld Dig and SteamWorld Heist, which will be available in major participating physical video game retailers around the world. SteamWorld Tower Defence will not be included, which is the very first game in the series, for DSi.

SteamWorld Dig is a platformer game where the player controls a robot named Rusty, who mines the underground for treasure, and uncover hidden secrets beneath the isolated Western town of Tumbleton. As the player mines further down, you will discover new abilities, more valuable gems which are used to purchase upgrades, and more terrifying enemies.

Meanwhile, SteamWorld Heist has the players control Captain Piper Faraday, who sets out on a space adventure, to plunder and pillage her way through enemy spaceships. As opposed to SteamWorld Dig, SteamWorld Heist is a turn-based strategy game. The game features procedural generation, and a customizable crew.

While both games are incredibly different in terms of gameplay, both of them maintain the robotic character design, and the well polished feel that is unique to Image & Form. The SteamWorld Collection is currently available for PlayStation 4 and will be available for the Wii U on November 15th at participating retailers such as Amazon, EB and Gamespot.
