Michel Ancel, the creator of the Rayman series, once made a darker adventure game called Beyond Good and Evil. While this title was not a financial success at the time of its release, it gained a lot of positive reception and over the years has built a cult following. Over a decade later, its sequel is in the works and maybe be coming to a console where you would least expect it.

According to blogger Laura Kate Dale, known for leaking the juiciest news in gaming, Beyond Good and Evil 2 will be an exclusive to the Nintendo Switch for the first year of its existence. It will be available for retail and download on the Switch in these first 12 months, and then will be released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One digitally.

Also interesting news to come from this post is that Beyond Good and Evil 2 is being nicknamed Odyssey. Michel Ancel did say that the original Beyond Good and Evil was supposed to be part of a larger trilogy, so maybe Odyssey is just the name for part 2 of this epic adventure. We look forward to hearing more about this title, possibly in the update for Nintendo Switch coming next week.
