With the world’s most badass DJ, Lucio, soon to be available in Heroes of the Storm, Blizzard has released a trailer that breaks down what Lucio can do.

As with the other Overwatch characters in Heroes of the Storm, Blizzard has done an excellent job of translating Lucio’s abilities from an FPS game into a MOBA setting. Most of what Lucio can do in Overwatch (passively heal or boost an ally’s speed, switch between the two buffs at will, push back enemies, temporarily boost his passive speed or heal buff, and give his allies a temporary barrier) is present, but he has received some interesting tweaks.

Lucio is one of the few characters who can move and attack at the same time. Additionally, Lucio’s signature wall ride ability now automatically increases his movement speed and lets him pass through enemy units/allies if he is next to a wall or structure.

Each character in Heroes of the Storm can choose one of two ultimate abilities, and Lucio is no different. Players can choose between his Sound Barrier ability or the brand new Reverse Amp ability. Reverse Amp either slows down enemies or damages them over time, depending on which buff is active.

Lucio is currently live on the game’s Public Test Realm and will join the full game shortly.
