During the EA E3 2015 press conference today, DICE announced just when we will be getting our hands on the next Mirror’s Edge game, February 23rd 2016. Announced previously as Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, it was revealed the first person parkour game will focus on the protagonist of the first entry in the series, Faith. Instead of being a sequel however, the story will show her origin and her progression into the roof-hopping heroine we know her as, all as she battles the head of the corrupt corporations, a man named Krueger.
DICE also revealed the large, totalitarian city of Mirror’s Edge Catalyst will be a full open world, no levels or loading screens, allowing plays to truly roam free.
