The team behind the spiritual successor to Silent Hill; Forgotten Memories has released their launch trailer that demonstrates in game footage for the iOS. Psychoz Interactive has definitely presented something quite interesting. The game looks great and the animation cycle looks extremely polished. The trailer has made it explicit that the footage shown belongs to the iOS version. I can’t get over the fact that it looks like it runs so well on the device!

Mannequins. Why did it have to be mannequins?

The games protagonist is locked down and trapped in what is suggested to be her memories, looking for a girl that might be her young self. All the while she is being hunted by a shadowy figure and mannequins. The cameo voice talents of Guy Cihi (who is the voice actor for James Sunderland in Silent Hill 2) kicks into play at the end, but his involvement with the woman is yet to be explored.

The game is set to be released on April 23rd on the App Store. The game is also set to be released on other platforms including the Android, Vita, Wii U and PC; with release dates not quite confirmed.

If this game’s premise is as dark and thrilling as the trailer makes of it, you can be sure this is going to be a sensational return to the survival horror genre. Let us know how you feel about this game!
