Yesterday we got a trailer and some information for the upcoming Ratchet and Clank (seen here) . Now, we have some more information on the PlayStation 4 title.

Ratchet and Clank will run at 1080p, and at 30fps. This was confirmed by Insomniac Games community lead James Stevenson. He stated: “Our goal was to match or exceed the fidelity of CG animated movies. When we first started we realized that was actually possible with PS4. Pretty exciting.”

It was also confirmed that Ratchet and Clank will cost gamers $40. Stevenson has clarified that the title is “way bigger” than the most recent release in the series, Into the Nexus. The game should offer around 10-12 hours of gameplay. This is an estimation, and Stevenson has said that the game will also feature upgrades and trophies to unlock.

Along with upgraded visuals, Ratchet and Clank will feature new planets, bosses, and weapons. New weapons include the Pixelizer, which turns enemies into explosive 8-bit pixels. Returning weapons include the Groovitron, which gets your foes dancing, and the Bouncer, which is offered to those who pre-order the game.

Ratchet and Clank will release on PlayStation 4 in spring 2016. The game will release alongside a movie based on the series. We will be seeing Ratchet and Clank at E3 this year.
