Thanks to how positive reception was to the Xbox Elite controller, Microsoft has now been thinking about future designs for future unique controllers.
This has come about through a tweet sent to Phil Spencer asking about the Xbox Elite controller’s success and whether that has changed anything over at Microsoft, or whether they’re thinking about releasing another type of controller like it.
The speed at which the controller sold definitely didn’t go unnoticed by Microsoft, says Phil Spencer.

Whether this means we’ll see another Xbox Elite controller design, a completely new controller concept, or just a new way to sell the Elite controller is unknown due to the nebulous response by Spencer. Maybe we’ll see a super-duper Elite controller, or one with gyrating vibrators to give gamers constant massages. And it dispenses hand sanitizer. Hold on, I have to send an email to Microsoft.
