It feels like we’ve known about Assassin’s Creed Victory for a long time, but it technically has not been officially revealed.

That is about to change.

A teaser appeared on Ubisoft’s official website confirming Assassin’s Creed Victory will be fully revealed on May 12 alongside a live stream.

Originally, a promotional image for the game leaked and landed on Neogaf, revealing Ubisoft’s plans to formally announce and show off gameplay from the latest iteration to be released in the annual Assassin’s Creed series.

The text appearing on the site reads the following: “Oppression has to end. World premiere live stream.” The stream will begin at 17:00 UK time.

Assassin’s Creed Victory was acknowledged last year by Ubisoft after it was leaked in the fall. It showed a new protagonist for the series exploring the Victorian era city of London. Ubisoft confirmed the game was in production, but expressed disappointment over the game leaking so early. The game appears to use the same engine that was used to run Assassin’s Creed Unity and is coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

What are your hopes for the next Assassin’s Creed game? Will you be catching the live stream?
