News about Star Wars: The Force Awakens is few and far between. J. J. Abrams has managed to keep a pretty tight ship, considering that this is the first Star Wars movie to be made in over 32 years. (the thought is that if I keep saying that there wasn’t any first three episodes that they might be erased from memory)

We’ve seen pictures of a huge X-Wing that he used to promote a charity titled Force for Change. The charity went along with the movie’s development and offered prizes to those that entered. As well, the latest trailer has given us a new shot of a large post-Death Star Imperial army, very reminiscent of the last shot of Episode II. (Oh god, there it is again) Now, in a leaked tweet that was quite quickly removed, we have our first shot of Mark Hamill donning the Jedi robes once again.

How much of a role in the movie Mark Hamill has is yet to be seen. It would be nice to have a film of mostly new main characters, but having one or two be used to propel the story in a specific direction could definitely make things interesting for the new cast. Until December 18th, 2015, however, we can only guess what sort of role the cast of the original trilogy will have.11896200_967713409939213_7453337501443557466_n
