At this year’s E3, Nintendo finally revealed the long awaited next installment to the Star Fox series with Star Fox Zero. This Wii U title is looking to utilize the two screen system of the player’s television, along with the GamePad, to create a masterful Arwing experience.

While Star Fox Zero was slated to be released in November of this year, Nintendo shared today via Twitter that it will unfortunately be delayed to Spring 2016. Nintendo legend and the game’s producer, Shigeru Miyamoto, wrote a post to Facebook about the situation. He stated, “To the people looking forward to the launch of the game this holiday season, I am very sorry.”

Check here to see Miyamoto’s post in its entirety. While the delay is disappointing, the world will most like get an even better Star Fox Zero out of it. Until then, fans will just have to replay Star Fox 64 for the one millionth time.
