Last week, Jimmy Kimmel had a monologue discussing the launch of the YouTube Gaming channel. He seemed less than thrilled about the idea, saying that “To me, watching another person play video games is like going to a restaurant and having someone eat your food for you.” Gamer’s all around have not agreed with Kimmel’s opinion on YouTube Gaming and have sent him a backlash of hate.
In a monologue this week, Jimmy Kimmel responded to this hate. He pointed out numerous comments from the video from people who wished him cancer, aids, or told him to kill himself. One person commented “Why watch porn when you could have sex.” Obviously Jimmy Kimmel had a field day with this one.
Hopefully this video will get less hate than the previous one on YouTube Gaming, which had nearly 60,000 dislikes. The gaming community is not a force to be reckoned with.
