Here’s one to raise your eyebrows. Curiously, the upcoming F2P Fable game, Fable Legends, has been removed from the Xbox One’s ‘Greatest Games Lineup’. The game releases next week on the 13th October, but does not feature in Microsoft’s latest Greatest Games Lineup video, despite having done so in all such material prior.
Watch the new TV commercial below and you will see that Forza Motorsport 6, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Halo 5 Guardians, and Gears of War Ultimate Edition all feature. Two of those games are already out with the other two to release later this year, however any mention of Fable Legends or its lead character has mysteriously disappeared without a word.
Is this a sign that Fable Legends simply won’t be a great game, or is something else going on here?
