2K games has released the latest trailer for Mafia III highlighting one of the game’s underbosses, Cassandra the Voodoo Queen.
The Voodoo Queen is the leader of the Haitian Syndicate who has a vendetta against the Mafia. Cassandra is one of three underbosses that the main protagonist, Lincoln Clay, may align himself with. The other two allies are Thomas Burke, a member of the Irish mob; and Vito Scaletta, the protagonist from Mafia II.
“A first-hand witness to the mob’s ruthless trafficking rackets, she’s vowed to take them down no matter the cost. She’s as ruthless as she is mysterious. God help anyone that gets in her way,” 2K described.

The game takes place in New Bordeaux during the late sixties, revolving around Lincoln Clay’s quest for revenge on Sal Marcano for killing the black mob.
It was revealed that the underbosses, if neglected, could turn on and betray the player. Mafia III is set to launch October 7th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Mafia III is developed by 2K Czech and Hangar 13. It’s the follow-up to the series’ 2010 predecessor. The game will take place in a fictionalized version of New Orleans in 1968.
