Developer Dontnod Entertainment and Publisher Square Enix announced today that Life is Strange will receive a Limited Edition physical release of the episodic graphic adventure game for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in January 2016. Set to hit retailers in North America on January 19 and in Europe on January 22, Life is Strange was originally released through digital stores/platforms in five parts beginning on January 30 earlier this year with the final entry of Season 1 released less than a month ago on October 20, 2015.

Included in the Limited Edition physical copy is a 32 page artbook (including unreleased concept art), the full Life is Strange Soundtrack, the original score by Jonathan Morali, and director’s commentary. Furthermore, the physical copy will add German, Italian, Spanish (Castilian), Spanish (Mexican), and Brazilian Portuguese subtitles to expand upon the English and French ones found in the digital version of the game.

In response to the game’s popularity and desire among fans for physical items to commemorate the time bending adventures of Maxine Caulfield, the female protagonist of Life is Strange, Luc Baghadoust, producer on Life is Strange from Dontnod Entertainment, notes “The response to Life is Strange has blown us away! To be able to share that experience with our fans in a traditional boxed format is something we’re really excited about and the decision to include extra items for the Limited Edition is a direct response to fan requests.”

In other Dontnod Entertainment news, Co-Founder Alain Damasio seemingly confirmed the second season of Life is Strange in a recent interview yet had his words later modified to clearly state that no upcoming second season of the game has been formally announced.
